PartyRide Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PartyRide, Inc. (“PartyRide,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile apps, websites, dashboards, event/QR tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and our Terms.

PartyRide is a technology platform that connects riders and independent transportation providers. We don’t provide transportation services ourselves.

 1) What We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account & profile: name, email, phone, photo, password/pin, marketing preferences.
  • KYC/driver onboarding (drivers/owners only): license, ID, insurance, vehicle and background-check data via authorized partners.
  • Payments: masked card/wallet tokens (via our payment processors), billing ZIP, last-4 (we don’t store full card numbers).
  • Communications: support tickets, ratings/reviews, survey responses.
  • Contacts (optional): with your permission, to invite riders to group rides.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Device & usage: IP, device identifiers, app/browser version, crash logs, telemetry, and in-app actions (e.g., requests, cancels).
  • Location: precise geolocation to match you with nearby drivers, provide ETAs, route trips, and power safety features. You can disable location in OS settings, but the app may not function.
  • Cookies & similar tech: to keep you logged in, measure performance, and personalize content.

1.3 Information from third parties

  • Payments/anti-fraud: updates from payment processors and fraud tools.
  • Maps/telecom: map tiles, routing, masked calling/SMS metadata (time, duration).
  • Identity & background checks (drivers): results/status from trusted providers you authorize.
  • Analytics/attribution: aggregated app/web analytics and campaign performance.

Note: Some rideshare operators publicly disclose in-vehicle audio/video recording for safety. PartyRide does not record audio/video by default. If we deploy any recording in specific markets, you’ll see clear in-app and vehicle notice and this Policy will be updated accordingly. (Comparable ride policies describe extensive data categories and safety rationales.)

 2) How We Use Information

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Services (matching, routing, pricing, support, safety).
  • Group rides & split pay: invite/join flows, payment status, QR/Event mode.
  • Combat fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, and spam.
  • Show estimates, ETAs, receipts, and trip history.
  • Communicate about rides, safety, and product updates (transactional).
  • Marketing (only if you opt in) and measurement (de-identified/aggregated where feasible).
  • Comply with laws, enforce Terms, handle disputes.

 3) SMS/Calls, TCPA & CTIA

By providing a phone number, you consent to transactional texts/calls (e.g., codes, driver arriving). Marketing texts require your express consent; you can opt out anytime by replying STOP (HELP for help). We honor applicable TCPA rules requiring consent for autodialed/prerecorded calls and texts.

4) Sharing & Disclosure

We share information with:

  • Service providers/processors: payments, maps/geocoding, communications (masked calling/SMS), cloud hosting, analytics.
  • Compliance & safety: background-check partners (drivers), law enforcement or regulators when legally required or to prevent harm.
  • Business transfers: merger, financing, acquisition scenarios (with notice).
  • With your direction: e.g., enterprise programs, referral invites, or partner activations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may “share” data for targeted ads/measurement under state laws; you can opt out (see §6). For de-identified/aggregated data, we maintain safeguards and do not re-identify.

 5) Your Privacy Controls

Location

Control in iOS/Android OS settings (Allow Once/While Using/Always). Event/QR rides may require at least while-using to function.

Communications

  • Marketing SMS/email: opt out via STOP/unsubscribe. Transactional messages will still be sent as needed.
  • Push notifications: manage in app/OS settings.

 6) State Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA, TDPSA, and similar)

California (CCPA/CPRA). You may have rights to know/accessdeletecorrectopt out of sale/share, and to limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (SPI). We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal for opt-out of sale/share where required.

Texas (TDPSA). Texas residents have rights to access, correct, delete, data portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We provide an appeals process if we decline a request.

Other states (e.g., CO, CT, VA, UT) provide similar rights; see our U.S. State Supplements page for details and request forms/links.

How to exercise rights: Use the in-app Privacy & Data menu or email support@party-ride.com . We’ll verify your request and respond within the statutory timeframe. Agents may act on your behalf with proof of authority. You can also submit a universal opt-out via GPC where recognized.

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit, least-privilege access, secrets management, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure; please use unique passwords and keep your device updated.

 10) Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as necessary for ride operations, safety, dispute resolution, tax/accounting, and legal compliance, then delete or de-identify. You can request deletion subject to exceptions (e.g., fraud prevention, legal obligations).
